DeSalvo Construction has worked with us on several projects during the past 3 years. Our full kitchen remodel was completed with the utmost of professionalism and care by Tim and his team.
As we began discussions with Tim on ideas for our kitchen he took the time to understand what we were looking to achieve and how we would use the kitchen. He helped to come up with a few alternatives that would achieve the ultimate kitchen. In the end we decided that we would renovate not only the kitchen, but the laundry room and bathroom at the same time. Tim spent many weekends with us picking out cabinets; granite; tile; bathroom fixtures and appliances. He was great about offering recommendations based upon his experience.
The demolition of the existing kitchen was amazing. The first thing the team did was put up barriers to constrain the dust/dirt to the work area only. At the same time they set up a temporary kitchen for us to use during the construction. Through each step of the project Tim would update us on the progress. There were a few times when we asked for changes and Tim was always great about accommodating them. He even took time to template a few versions of a kitchen island so we could get a view of our options. This attention to detail and desire to give us a kitchen we would love sets Tim apart from other contractors. The finished project was another amazing piece of work by Tim and his team. The comments we here from folks as they enter our new kitchen are wonderful! The kitchen has been used for a number of functions now and it works wonderfully for large parties!
Tim's attention to detail, knowledge of his craft, and desire to make everyone happy sets him apart from all other contractors.
On a side note my father/in-law is a retired builder and extremely fussy about quality work. He continues to be impressed with the quality of workmanship that Tim has done on our home and no longer worries about new projects we start as long as we use Tim.Thank you Tim & the entire DeSalvo team for all the great work you have done on our home. We were truly blessed to find Tim and his crew to do this special project -- complete w/elevator and all ADA handicap accessible! We cannot say enough good things about these guys--extremely professional and the workmanship is amazing! They are taking a very difficulty design to a higher level! The new addition will house Rich, Josh, Bella and of course our dear Grammy Tucker!! It will double the size of the existing structure and include an elevator so that Bella will have complete access to all of the house. This was our first experience with DeSalvo Construction. We hired Mike to design and construct a 16X16 reinforced deck for our new outdoor Spa. The deck supports over 4500 lbs. and is beautifully finished with vinyl railings and Azek Composite decking and wrapping.
The main reason I chose DeSalvo Construction is because Mike spent time designing multiple layouts/plans for us and always followed-up when promised. The reasons I would use them again would be their quality workmanship, pricing, willingness to work with us on alterations, and doing what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it.
