DeSalvo Construction, LLC is a family-owned company established in 1984. Its founder and owner, Tim DeSalvo, has built solid relationships with his clients while utilizing his foundational values of trust, integrity and distinctive craftsmanship. He believes these standards have created successful connections with his clients to achieve their desired project with a commitment to their complete satisfaction.
It began with a picturesque home situated on the Cape Cod coast with incredible ocean views. This family’s vision focused on enhancing their scenic surroundings by constructing a 55’x 55’ custom glass conservatory that would house their new indoor swimming pool with flowing fountains. A year-round addition customized for their lifestyle entertainment.
The limited space did not deter this natatorium project from its footprint design. Its massive, sleek aluminum frame structure creates a visual impact as you approach their property by evoking an image of an ornate structure. The intensity of the glass allows the combination of indoor intimacy with the serenity of their outdoor landscaping. An 11’x 11’ roof lantern amplifies the design by increasing light and elegance through the blue translucent glass.

Only the Finest Craftsmanship Showcased on this Custom Kitchen Remodel
A kitchen they would fall in love with is what these New England clients desired as they began designing their layout to include all the amenities necessary to entertain. This captivating kitchen makeover blends custom cherry cabinets with impressive detailed archways and mouldings. A long, elegant island provides not only a large working space, but also allows the cook to interact with the guests. Specialties include a marble backsplash, tiled mosaic highlighting their stove, stainless steel appliances, granite, tiled marble walls, and custom cabinetry.
This renovation combines an open-concept kitchen/dining room/family room with access and view to their backyard and patio. The inspiration for the wood raised-paneled archways originated from the old world craftsmanship detail constructed in the Searles Castle in Windham, NH, a local historic landmark. The seeded glass cabinet doors and custom rounded shelving along both ends of the island provide a place to showcase the customer’s novelties acquired while traveling. A mock cabinet door was created to conceal the dishwasher.
While designing the existing space to enlarge the kitchen, they decided to upgrade their project and renovate their laundry area and bathroom. Wall-to-wall white lacquered cabinetry and drawers, in addition to decorative marble tiled walls enhanced this newly remodeled area.
Their new kitchen layout not only serves as a place to prepare meals, but is also an inviting area for entertaining and family gatherings. A transformation that exceeded these clients’ expectations and a room they will continue to enjoy every day.
"The attention to detail and the desire to give us a kitchen we would love sets DeSalvo Construction apart from other contractors. The finished project was another piece of amazing work by Tim and his team. The comments we hear from folks as they enter our new kitchen are wonderful!"
"Quality is never an Accident"
Friday, May 11, 2012
According to William A. Foster. It is a combination of high standards, knowledge, experience and strategic planning used to successfully complete a remodeling project that satisfies the client.
It encompasses more than your finished project and it involves many stages including materials, planning, design and adherence to building standards. These factors all determine whether your project will ensure minimal maintenance and longevity.
There is always a remodeler who can build with substandard workmanship and sell at a lower cost, but they cannot compete with a higher and better product and service. Considering price alone may lead to poor quality such as inferior materials or inadequate craftsmanship that may be more costly in the long run. There are no surprises or hidden costs with DeSalvo Construction, LLC. They have a passion for quality craftsmanship. First they find out what you are interested in and then plan their contract to accurately reflect their strategy to meet or exceed the construction industry’s requirements.
DeSalvo Construction builds in the most efficient, economical and satisfactory manner possible. You can be assured that quality is essential from their planning and design stages, to achieving unique construction methods, ordering materials, hiring subcontractors and getting the job done right the first time. Through this process it ensures a certain level of quality to meet the expectations of their client.
Quality is related to price. The value of your completed project should be based by what it gives you, and not by what you give for it. Service and satisfaction, not initial cost, determines worth. So if quality and value are something you desire for your remodeling project, home addition or indoor pool, we believe DeSalvo Construction is a well-recommended company that guarantees to provide value, craftsmanship and comfort.
Building an Indoor Pool is not for your Average Contractor
Saturday, May 5, 2012
Building an indoor swimming pool is not for your average contractor. They are more complicated and technically demanding than most construction projects and require special knowledge, a high level of skill, a commitment to customer satisfaction and a passion for excellence, all of which mark the work of DeSalvo Construction, LLC.
While learning the intricacies of a natatorium, Tim DeSalvo, built one of his own. They are far from a regular outdoor swimming pool. A well constructed natatorium is available on demand year round, can be fully automated so that it requires minimal maintenance, and becomes in reality a kind of indoor private sanctuary where one can exercise, mediate, or simply relax.
A correctly built indoor swimmimg pool has low humidity and virtually no pool odor. Creating that kind of healthful and comfortable climate is not easy. It requires intense attention to detail and a complete understanding of the materials and systems that make it possible.
When finished, a natatorium is an enjoyable, comfortable environment, one that effortlessly hides the astonishing array of material technology and engineering applications that make it possible.
Tim is the sole owner and does the work himself with reliable subcontractors and his sons. He devotes his full attention to what he does best so that all his work is of the highest quality. This means not only that the client receives the best construction work money can buy, but also that he is involved every step of the way.
